is there a way to disable "My Documents" completly??

I'm so sick of having the save as window always open to "My
Documents", or "My Pictures" and so on. I never use it, and would like
everything to do with it gone.
 
Issue: Choosing "Save Picture as" from Internet Explorer, defaults to My
Pictures:

Though there is no method to change the default picture save folder, you can
add your custom folder locations in the left pane (a.k.a Places bar) as a
workaround. Here is a similar thread addressing this issue:

Should you need more assistance on customizing the Places bar (only for
Common dialog Open/Save boxes), see:

Thanx, that works. I just hate my documents, and worse, when it goes
there your end up in thumbnails view, i don't want that, i want
details view. I used that vb script and now when I click one of the
folder on the left, it opens in detail view (:
