Is there a way to check windows for corrupt files/dll's?

Because I'm wondering if the crashing I'm experiencing related to
windows explorer is related to possible corruption. It will freeze
and loop often adn I have to end task when I am doing file management
quite frequently.

the system file checker

click on start > run >
sfc /scannow

later if you have
