My little chart for amateur radio operators gives them the info on how much
currency or International Reply Coupons are needed to send mail.

Because of the fluctuation of currencies, I'd like to add the capability to
insert a line below each Country that would determine the today's current
rate and calculate any change.

I have a link to a EURO currency converter but would like to integrate it's
functions into the actual page.

Please and thank you.

On excel 2002 and newer (maybe older) a web query may work.
Click Data/Import External Data/New Web Query
From the page that opens up, pick the converter page you are using,
then select the field you want to import.
You want to use a site where either you can import a whole table of
rates and then do a look up on the table or you can make a separate
query for each currency. In the second case you want a site where
the currencies to be converted are part of the address vs a java
program. Also pick a site that is stable without too much clutter
other wise the rate you pick this time may pick up an ad from the
page next time.
I haven't used it much but when I have it seems to be a little hit or miss.
I think it designed to work best with intranet sites. You will probably
have to experiment to get it working right.
