Is there a size limit on Notes in Outlook?

The yellow sticky notes or the notes field of an item? Which version of
outlook are you using?

In some cases there is a 999 character limit but if you use outlook 2003 and
a new Unicode pst, there shouldn't be a limit.
 
Using Yellow stickies. No limit? None?!?!

Are you hitting a limit? If so, what version of outlook and if 2003, which
pst format.

I'm not hitting a limit; I would just rather know in advance, than risk
losing text or or something
 
AFAIK, you will be prevented from typing, so unless you are a 'look at the
keyboard, not the screen' typist, you shouldn't lose anything. You should
also be ok unless you plan to write a book with each chapter in a note - I
know Outlook 2003 in Unicode mode holds at least 2 - 3 typical word
processor pages (approx 9000 characters total) because I once pasted the
contents of a document into a note.

The best way to find out if your copy has a limit is to type something in
word (doesn't need to be readable :)) count the characters and paste into a
note. Use letters and spaces only - para marks aren't counted when word does
a character count but they will count as a character in a note.
