is there a service pack 2 for windows xp pro???

I am tired of creating new workstations and then
installing mso036, then mso039 and now mso043 before I
bring the workstation on the network... there has to be a
better way!!!

No SP2 yet, but this should solve your problem (it gets you up to @
MS03-040):

Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Windows XP (KB826939)
Overview
This update consists of previously released critical updates, for Windows
XP, rolled into one convenient package. Installing this item provides you
the same results as installing the individual updates. After you install
this item, you may have to restart your computer.

Just turn on your firewal after the install and then
go to Windows Update where it will start with
the rollup, ms03-034, ms03-040 and later, and
patches for things like IE.
