J Julie_J Dec 29, 2005 #4 Try: TOOLS, OPTIONS, under PREFERENCES tab select EMAIL OPTIONS, ADVANCED EMAIL OPTIONS This will only notify you when your Outlook is open and running on your desktop. If you are looking for alerts outside of Outlook - it depends on where you want to be notified.
