Is there a "connecter" download for Outlook 2002?

Yes - there are POP settings for both Hotmail and MSN for the older versions
that can't use the Outlook Connector...

Actually, it does help considerably. Hotmail has offered POP3 access to free
accounts since February, 2009, or so.

Nope. The Outlook Connector add-on works with Outlook 2003 and 2007.
It won't work with Outlook 2002.

Since you asked about this add-on, the only reason why you would want it
but failed to actually mention in your post is that you have a Hotmail
account. You'll have to upgrade to 2003/2007 of Outlook, switch to POP
access, or hope one of the screenscraper proxies still work, like
FreePOPs or the Webmail extension to Thunderbird (but if the site
changes its web pages then these scrapers fail and you wait until the
authors fix them).
