Is the shared quorum resource mandatory for a 2-node cluster?

Hi there

I am trying to set up a 2-node Windows cluster. Both nodes are loaded with Win2K Advanced Server, patched with SP4. However, I do not have a storage device to be shared between both nodes

Is it possible to set up this cluster so that the shared storage is not required

Many thanks

Not with Windows 2000. Windows 2003 could do this, but you'd need 3+ nodes
to have a "working" cluster.
