I am a bit confused. I saw there were now some powertoys for the
Microsoft Media Center.

Is this the same thing as Microsoft's Media Player 10?

I dont know about that. But make sure that you dont play it on a Sony
product.
Sony illlegally hijacks your pc. They install malicious software
using Trojan horses. Root kit and whatever crap. Ask Thomas Hesse for
more. He seems to think that you give a damn about it.

If you don't know about it, don't reply with some rant. This is a Windows XP
newsgroup, not a site for the paranoid.

Media player is software to run audio and video. Windows Media Center
is a version of the XP OS. They are not the same.

What an entertaining post! Instead of ensuring that you don't
play Media Center or Media Player 10 on a Sony product (I
have a Sony wide-screen TV but promise not to play Media
Center on it); why not ensure that you don't play a Sony CD
or DVD product on a PC equipped with Media Center or
Media Player 10? That would make more sense.

"Root kit or whatever crap." I can't cope with the flood of technical
data emenating from this post. My mind is melting!

"Ask Thomas Hesse." I'm sure Tommy Boy is a nice guy but just
who the hell is he? Your next-door neighbor? The ambassador
to Nigeria?

Give me an "R". Give me an "A". Give me an "N". Give me a "T".
