Hello All:
I have been having problems with my FP 2000 program closing abruptly
when using certain functions. I have a thread going with Thomas Rowe, MVP
FP2000, right now and he has suggested everything he knows of and it hasn't
helped solve the problem so far. I thought maybe I would post here in case
anybody knows of any updates that may have caused similar problems.
The problem I have is that after I open FP2000, there is a Tools button
on the top, that normally allows you to use various add-ins available on the
web, also a Customize button to change various web settings. If I use either
of these buttons, FP simply disappears, no error message, no freeze up, just
POOF gone.
The last update had to do with Direct X 9 I believe.
Anyway, I thought it might be worth a shot to see if any help here from
MVP's who also know FP

Rod

Did Thomas have you go to Help>Detect and Repair in FP2000?
