Hi,

I unistalled Ghost, the only thing on my D drive, and thought I would be
left with a big empty 30 gig warehose.

Instead, I get messages saying the the D drive is not formatted, do I want
to format it now? I looks safe, but is it REALLY safe?

I want the space to run my DVD video stuff, away from everything else. So,
what should I know before I proceed?

Thanks!!!

You can format drive D: safely if the following conditions are met:
- You have no data files on drive D:, and
- You have no system files on drive D:, and
- You have no hidden files on drive D:.
If one of these conditions is not met then you must find
out what these files are.

Thanks! I don't think anything CAN be on it as it shows as a volume with no
'nothin' when viewed from my computer or explorer. Click on it and Format?
is the response.

Cheers and thanks.

I used the Program Install/Unistall that came with XP. Now I find that the D
drive is partitioned, with the system files in one partition, and an unused
and inaccessable volume of roughly 37 gig. It is 'Healthy' but not with a
NFTS, or any other, file system.

I'd like to utilize this space, any suggestions?

Thanks!!!
