Say I have 5 pivot tables that all have in the drop down menu "Geography" in
A4. I would like to know if excel has a capability to select say Americas
from the drop down box and the same be selected and updated for every pivot
you have within the file. I thought perhaps my hitting ctrl and selecting
all tabs and then selecting the geography I wanted it would work but it says
it cannot do that...Does anyone know if there is a solution?

Sorry there is no easy solution. Depending on what version of Excel you are
using (above Excel 2000) you could catch the pivot table change event and
update the other pivot tables accordingly...

Hi,

This is very usefull. Thanks a lot.
One problem thoug I thought you could maybe help me with.
This works really good for the data set you have in your sheet. But when use
this for another sheet that I have woth a lot more data (300.000 lines) .
Thist takes to long. Excel is calculating for some minutes. Any way to speed
up the process?
