I noticed a lot of black screens but took no notice of how long the upgrade
took, Probably an hour roughly.

how black screen hang I got was at the end before it start the OS the first
time.

My clean install of RC2 was no longer than 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

Yes I thought that also (clean install x64). Still took less than 30
mins, but more nail-biting black screen episodes.
