Is GalleryPlayer (in Google pack) freeware?

Is GalleryPlayer (included in Google pack) freeware?

The GalleryPlayer website <http://www.galleryplayer.com> is so full
of hype that I can't work out quite what GalleryPlayer is.

Is it a bit like RealPlayer: online multimedia that has something to
do with a TV?

It talks about "free trial" but I wonder if that is like Google
desktop search's free trail which is one that is likely to be free
for a very long time.
 
Looking at their website it seems to be a image slideshow app. for their
content. You are infact paying for their HQ images.
