Is Access 2003 runtime distributed with Office 2003 Pro?

Hi There,

I'm not finding the Access 2003 runtime on my office 2003 disk or in the
installation options. Does anyone have any ideas as to why? It is supposed
to be included with Access 2003 but I'm not seeing it on my Office 2003 Pro
disk.

Thanks in advance

The runtime is (I believe) on many of the Office CDs. What is important though
is that you have no legal rights to distribute it unless you purchase the
Developer's Edition. Why they include it on versions where you cannot
distribute it is a mystery to me.

I've got the VSTO and Developer Extensions disk but the packaging wizard
prompts me for where the access runtime file is. I can't find it on my
Office 2003 Pro disk. It should be on the office disk shouldn't it?

I've got the VSTO and Developer extensions but I can't find the runtime
anywhere on any of these disks. I'm kind of up in arms as far as what to do
from here.

Do you have Microsoft Office Professional 2003 installed on your PC?

You need Office 2003 Prof. *and* VSTO, AFAIK.

you need VSTO to _DISTRIBUTE_ it right?

to _USE_ art, you can just execute it

it's located on the office 2003 pro disk; im quite positive..

"The Access 2003 runtime is found in the Microsoft Office Professional
Edition 2003 ... installation media. It comprises two files: ACCESSRT.MSI
and ACCESSRT.CAB (the cabinet file is referred to as "OFF11.CAB" in the help
documentation of Access 2003 Developer Extensions)."
