I am new to access 2002 and need a inventory control program. How does this
work to control inventory?

With a properly designed database, ACCESS can do inventory control quite
nicely.

As Ken said, sure, if done correctly.
MVP Allen Browne has some excellent information here you may find helpful:

Also, MVP John Viescas has a new book just out that devotes a good
fourth of the book I think on this very subject. He details four specific
applications and provides a detailed analysis on how they work. One
of those applications is Inventory Control I think. The book is called
"Building Microsoft Access Applications." You can find info on his site:

Good luck,

TDCronin,

I think PC Datasheet's response is commercial solicitation in disguise.

I have suggested that he post some free samples on his web site, as many
others here do (some provide much more that samples), and to point people
toward those. Visitors the web site could be presented with a link to
consulting services, or something like that, as long as the samples are
really free. He ignored me.
