I usually run this computer at a fixed IP on my home network.
However once in a while I like to bypass my router and change my TCP/IP
properties to "Obtain an IP address automatically."
But every time I go to set it back, I get the above error message.
The only network adapter I have ever had is the onboard one which is the
one listed in the error message.
If it figures in, I do have Virtual PC installed, but none of my virtual
machines have that IP address assigned to them. And the virtual machine
adapter calls itself "PCI Fast Ethernet DECchip 21140 based Adapter"
Where is this duplicate coming from? The registry maybe?
