I get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Stop 0x000000A error, but only while
shutting down. I am certain it is due to a faulty installation of Easy CD
Platinum v.5.1. I tried to uninstall it and reinstall, but when I uninstall
the software I cannot access either my DVD drive or CD-RW drive (both had
exclamation points on the Hardware Manager). Any ideas? I am using WinXP
Home.

Hi

See if the following link helps:

"0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

I tried several of the things there but a System Restore prior to
reinstalling Easy CD stopped the lockup. Ultimately, my problem seems to be
that I did a reinstall of XP and when I try to reinstall some of the
software from the old system the software doesn't install properly. If I
delete the old install directories the system stops even more often!

I cured the problem by going to the Roxio website and doing a manual
uninstall of Easy CD Creator 5.2. Now I need to talk to MS about how to
manually uninstall Broadband Networking :)

Glad you've got one problem sorted out :-)
