IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Problem

Recently I installed Win XP Pro in my computer. Everything is working fine.
But since a couple of weeks I noticed that each time I shut off the PC its
restart. After turning on the autorestart feature I found that the system is
reporting a malfunction when shutting down:
" ..... IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL .....
STOP: 0X0000000A (0X0000002CC, 0X000000FF, 0X00000000, 0X80523912 .... "
I had tried disabling some hardware and removing the last hardwares
installed, but the problem continues. (I don't have Roxio software
installed)
The PC runs well, but is annoying to have that message or autorestart when
you want to turn off the PC. Does someone have and idea??

Is graphics card NVIDIA?
I had the same problem when I upgraded NVIDIA drivers to
52.16 (released Oct). The new drivers released Dec 9 53.03
got rid of the problem (so far). I would not use the
driver from microsoft, through windows update, which seams
to be the same as NVIDIA 52.16.
If 53.03 doesn't do the trick, then try to use the 45.23
driver.
Also remove old drivers first, and disable any antivirus
software before installing.
Good Luck
