IRQ Not Less or Equal

I have a customer that had a pc built by his son. I'm
trying to install XP on it and it formats the drive and
reboots and gets to the part of installing XP and it
crashes. It tells me to check the BIOS to disable
caching or shadowing which it doesn't have. It also
tells me to check the hardware and make sure it's
properly installed, which I really haven't done since I
didn't put the pc together. I disabled the USB in the
BIOS and tried installing it a fourth time and now I'm
getting the IRQ Not Less or Equal error. Any suggestions?

When you boot up, if your monitor is warmed-up and real
fast, you may or may not see your video BIOS for a second.
Then you get the System board BIOS.
At the very bottom, usually, you'll see a long BIOS
string. Push the Pause key to stop the bootup so you can
write it down.
Try running it (without the date portion of the string) in
Google. Put the BIOS string in quotes. You may need to try
different parts of the string to achieve success in
finding the manufacturer website.
See if there's a BIOS upgrade that will solve the problem.
