IRQ NOT CONFIGURED error

Hi all
I have an error message on start-up, says IRQ NOT CONFIGURED - PCI Serial Bus Controller on Motherboard, Bus:00, Device:1D, Function 07
I am able to hit F1 and finish booting up, computer acts normal after thant (although maybe slower to startup)
Running XP home on a Gateway M505
I have no clue.

Odds are you need to run Gateways diagnostics, before
doing that though try booting the systemm with absolutely
nothing besides monitor keyboard and mouse (preferabley
ps2 versions)

If you still get the error and are unable to obtain diags
try removing the expansion cards that you can do
without... basically everything except video, and see if
it resolves the issue, if it does... try adding them back
one at a time till you find what is giving the error

Oh yes, if the diagnostics all pass and all seems good to
go you can check your IRQ settings in BIOS, or if you
cannot figure out exactly how to edit them there, i dont
know as my AOE is Dell... then you can goto windows and
check the device manager, if nothing has a bang or x or
such then check the properties, at this point you should
buy an A+ study guide or locate a default irq setting
list andd then look through your device irq setiing s and
see if anythign strikes you as odd

I thought you said you had an 'IRAQ not configured ERROR'
