More often then not, when I log on, the following window
appears: "Error Starting Windows-The IPHLPAPI.DLL file
cannot start.
Check the file to determine problem." After searching for
this file,
which is located in "Systems" on C drive, and opening it,
a cautionary
alert appears which makes me reluctant to proceed. I am
therefore unable
to..."determine problem" Please help; if a telephone
contact would work
better, please advise. Thank you!

Donald,

By any chance have you installed AOL 9 ? If you have, contact them and
tell them that 1,000's of folks are getting this error message due to
the fact that their software is shoddy, to put it politely. Removing AOL
will get rid of the error message. Maybe if everyone afflicted with this
would do that then they'd get off their arses and do something.
