Patrick

hi
I can hardly imagine, that we are the only ones with the
challenge of connecting into different networks every
day...
as I have 2 offices with 2 different IP-ranges and
subnetmasks, off course a different gateway too, I would
like to setup something like 2 profiles with the
according IP... did not find any hints for such athing...
is there anybody that can help?
Your response is very much appreciated....
Patrick

If at least one of the locations used DHCP you can
simply use the alternate configuration in the Tcp/Ip
configuration.
If both are DHCP get one set of static info for one
of the locations and use the alternate config option.
If neither is DHCP, then you actually can configure
the one interface with two IPs and two gateways,
and whatever is necessary for DNS server, and it
will usually sort it out on a fresh boot after change
of location.
You might want to check into the very inexpensive
and convenient NetSwitcher application.
