That depends a lot on how your network is set up. I
assmue you are running XP, since this is the XP area.
If you are connected to the network and/or Internet, open
a command prompt window (Start | Run | Cmd), and type
IPCONFIG /ALL. This will tell you what IP address is
currently assigned to your computer.
