Io_err_bad_block

I am getting the following error in EventViewer:
Product: Windows XP
ID: 7
Source: Disk
Symbolic Name: IO_ERR_BAD_BLOCK
Message: The device, %1, has a bad block.

I have 3 SATA disks. I am not sure how to get rid of thiss error. It is preventing System State Backup.

I have performed Chkdsk on all disks.

How do I fix this?
