IO buffer size of Windows XP

Hi everybody,
I use Microsoft XP Professional Edition version 2002 with service pack 2. I
would be grateful to anybody if I had the answer to the following question:

What size has the IO buffer of this kind of operating system...????
or how can I find it...????
I searched the on-line help of the o.s. but i didn't find anything....
