Invoice print date

hello all
I have a invoice/ report and I need the date the report is printed to be
inserted into the table it is pulling from can anyone help I also need it to
give me and invoice numer.

If you could clarify what data you have and how it is laid out in
tables/queries, how it is used to generate the report, and where you want to
store the date, it's possible someone could offer worthwhile suggestions.
With the information you have given, about the only responses you can expect
are "I, too, have an invoice/report, and all this works fine." or "I, too,
have an invoice/report, and am experiencing similar problems."
