Invisible template Background

I noticed that Rich had trouble getting the background he saved as a POT file
to show up when he tried to use it as a design template. I am having the same
problem. I have PP2003, Windows XP SP2, Dell Precision Work Station with 2
Xeon Processors, and NVIDIA Quadro FX500/FX600. I tried your (Sonia) two
suggestions of downloading the latest drivers (from NVIDIA) and slowing down
hardward acceleration. Neither one of these made any difference. Any other
ideas? Thanks, Randy in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Randy,

If you want, send me the POT file to:

pttinc at itexas dot net (if you know what I mean)

and I will take a look.

You will need to insert the background in Slide Master (View > Master > Slide
Master). After inserting in the slide master, save it as a template.

Thanks a million! That was the missing point that I needed. I would think
this information would be included in the offline help section of power point
but I certainly didn't find it there! Thanks again and have a great day,
