Recently, as a new Net user, I found that something
called 'holistyc 242671' had set itself up on my C-drive,
and was continuously trying to access the Net.
It refused to be deleted. I stuffed it into a Compressed
Zipped file, where it remains.
How can I get rid of it?

Thanks

Hi

Try all of the following programs to check for and delete any spyware that might be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

If you get a message like the file can't be deleted because it is being used by the system, then boot the system in safe mode and try to delete it
Also, ending suspicious processes should help to desconnect the file to the system at runtime.
