Recently my Adobe Acrobat has failed to run. It gives a pop up [error 1324 The path program files or the volume is invalid. Please enter it again]. I've tried deleting the whole program using the proper Add/Remove Programs software but it gives the same error and won't delete. Also going into the respective folders and deleted the contents fails also. It of course will not let me reinstall any version without giving the same error.

Craig, you have to look in the Registry. Start>Run type: regedit
Navigate to
Hkey_Current_User\Software and Hkey_Local_Machine\Software and
remove the Adobe Folders.
Also check in C:\Program Files folder and delete the Adobe folder.

Thanks Rich........I tried what you suggested and deleted said folders but the problem still exists,
and I still cannot delete the program file Adobe Reader 6.0 and the Adobe file still comes up in the
programs start menu though the folder is empty(shaded grey). Looks like stronger measures
are required!!????
