I have just downloaded the Service pack 1 for windows
Media Centre Edition and wanted to do a full backup.
Used Accesories, System Tools, Backup and followed the
knowledge base instructions on how to use. ie:
backup files and setting
all information
save file to E:\ this is my DVD\Cd writer
file name: Fullbackup
Said: Backup file could not be used E:\Fullbackup.bkf
could not be used. Please ensure that it is a valid path
and you have suffient access. I am signed on
administrator and happy copy file to that drive all the
time.
Am signed on as administrator. there are no quotas on
storage size. E: works???
tried also advanced options:
Backup tab select C
aviliion and system state to back up
Backup destination was greyed to file only which is a
normal backup changeable in tools\options\backup type.
i have exactly same problem. Phoned HP and they were no
help.
Do do have any advise. do i have to configure my E:\ for
backup and if so how? or are my administrator settings
wrong?
