Hello.
Whenever I start up my system I get:
Invalid BOOT.INI file
Booting from c:\windows\
and then the system boots up. What's going on here and
how do I correct it?
Thanks,
--Chris.

In a response I received to this,I was asked for
more detail on my system. Here it is!:
There are two hard disks, 80 gigs in primary and 30GB in
the slave postion and are designated C: and D:
respectively. Both are formatted NTFS. WinXP is on C:.
D: is the old "C:", formally formatted FAT32. Everything
(possible?) is on the new C:. Once I've ironed
everything out, D: will be used for storage.
I have been given the typical BOOT.INI file for a
system with one Hard Disk. Thanks. Even though I think I
need the typical BOOT.INI file for two HD's, I still find
the info interesting (as I've never seen it before), and
is still useful (I can still pass it along!) as it
becomes part of my meager knowlege base. Thank you very
much for your time and attention. Sincerly,
--chris.
