Interoperabilty with outlook 2003?

Hello, I have word xp and I have recently upgraded my outlook xp to outlook 2003. Now when I go into Word xp and go File\Send to\e-mail recipient it does not work. It used to work when I was using outlook xp. Is this a bug and an interoprability issue? Is there a fix

You have to upgrade to Word 2003 too.
