I had to reinstall windows xp on my pc ,as We have still only got dial up to
make an internet connection.When I go into internet options and then
connections to set it up it only will let me make an broadband
connection.What is wrong with this.

It is possible that your installation is not recognising the analogue
modem.. have you checked for this?..
 
Ye we checked the modem and it works fine for dialing numbers or faxes we
just can,t make the internet connection set up work.

Check Services and make sure Telephony is set to Automatic and is
running. Telephony has a few other service dependencies that might
also need checking.

Click Start, Run (Type) Services.Msc [Press Enter]
