internet worries

i had problems with my internet a few months ago, it wouldn't let me access a
few websites, so i used norton clean sweep and spy ware remover and all that.
I eneded up formatting my hard drive. the same thing has happened again i and
i am wondering why it wont let me access some sites and what i can do about
it?
one of the site is a flash site if it helps?

Have you downloaded and installed the Macromedia Flash Player?

I install this (without the annoying Yahoo Toolbar) on every machine I build.
