Are you using p2p? ;)
Look at these links:

And as a last resort :)

You probably won't get many replies as you have a typo in the NGs to
which you have posted and my client threw and error saying the NG did
not exist.

Found this out after I called my ISPs tech support, thought their
server was faulty.

Cheers,

Guy

Sounds reasonable... but very stupid for microsoft iwthout highlighting it
to user and giving it a tools to modify... I usually use shareaza and a lot
of application parallel....

I thought so.
but now I fear to install "strange" patch to a brand new SP. So I came back
to SP1 (with antivirus, Popup blocker and so on) and all works fine...

It is not a good idea to come back. Maybe for a month, but no longer.
And about patch. You can try manual edit TCPIP.SYS in hexeditor.
Remember to backup this file or create restore point before edit,
please.

You're welcome.

Thank you! I patched and it is running...

You're welcome.
Nice to hear that problem is gone.
I have just one problem even if was presente in sp1:

1) Causally http pages ware unreachable even if are reacheable through
ping.... the glitch disappers after several minutes from ipconfig /renew
command. I suspect incorrect firwalling of my ISP.

Any experiences on that?

Looks like DNS problem but I'm not sure, sorry.
