Internet Sharing on Network

I have inadvertently enabled internet sharing on my PC. This is not needed as
the other 2 machines on my network have direct access to the router. However
they appear to be connecting via my machine and this seems to be preventing
my machine accessing the internet via the router.

How do remove the internet sharing from all 3 machines?

Hi,

You would find the ICS setting on the advanced tab of the network connection
properties. Right click it in the networking folder and select properties.
Machines connected directly to a router using DHCP should be set to
automatically allow the router to assign an IP, but you can use static ones
as well.

I have 2 connections - the network one MS Home and this second one which has
appeared and which does not have any tabs other than a general one when I
right click on it.

How do you know that you've enabled Internet sharing?

Do the other computers show an "Internet Gateway" connection? If so,
it could represent your router, which is an Internet sharing (gateway)
device.

Check on the first PC to see if any network connection is shown as
being shared.
