I tried to log on to my car insurance site and it says I
don't have cookies turn on. So I go to Internet Options,
and click on security. I try to change the internet zone
from medium high to medium low and a pop up comes up and
say "The recommended security for this zone is
medium." "The level that you have chosen is lower than
this. Please choose a security level of medium or
higher." How can I override this setting? It allows me to
change trusted and intranet zones, but not internet and
restricted. I have Win XP SP2.

Hi,
I actually have the same issue, with a new Dell computer. I havne't
figured that out, and I am not shure if it is with Windows XP, or
Symantech Internet Securtiy. If you have solved this issuse, please
let me know.

Thanks,

Same problem here with same pop-up message. I am the admin on this home XP
Pro machine. Why can't I change the Security level to Medium-Low or Low
afetr SP2? Running Norton AV and Spybot with TeaTimer turned on. Very
unlikely a bug is involved.

Same error for same reason. Can't go to Medium-Low or Low in Security after
SP2. Running Norton AV and Spybot with TeaTimer turned on. Probably not a
virus or malware.
