internet properties tabs are gone

i am unable to get to the general properties tab on
internet explorer, as they are not there..
i cannot delete my cookies or temp files, or clear the
history, and cannot set my homepage..

this whole tab + 3 others are not there..

please help..
i read the info on 98 but i am running 2000 and need the
registry information for this.

Try posting this in an appropriate Internet Explorer News Group.

Use the Group policy editor
%windir%\system32\gpedit.msc
User Config\Admin Templates\Windows Components\IE\IE Control Panel set them
all back to "Not Configured"

(usually spyware/ junkware that sets this)
