internet problems and "runner error" ?

I am experiencing intermittent slow internet (pages loading slow or getting hung up); also, every time I boot up, I get an error message "runner error - invalid backweb application id 137903" . Finally, when I try to use the "search" function in the 'Start" menu, I get absolutely no respons

not sure if this all connected or not. I did discover the "Tinybar" parasite (xxxbar) and got rid of it - didn't help the slow internet problem thoug

[LOL That looks familiar,right down to the exact same numbers.If you look in your "program
files" under Hewlett Packard(orH/P) folders you will find Back Web.It's a tracking program
that is supposed to aid you in surfing.I consider it spyware and removed it with Spybot
(www.lurkhere.com in the nice files section).Hope this helps.JB]
