Internet options>>>whats the point?

The internet options>>>General>>>delete cookies>>>files>>>clear history is a
complete waste of time as it never does what it implies, you can waste many
a good hours surfing time trying to clear your list of visited sites and the
only real way it works is to go into the hidden files local settings and
delete temp and history from there. So what is the point of having that
feature? it's a crock of the proverbial Pigs. Why are we forced to either
purchase or download third party software to do the Job of the software that
we already have. Is it a case of creating jobs for the Boys? or admitting
that all isn't rosy at MS?

Which leads me to ................... Oh I'll save it for another day
 
thats why i use mozilla.org firefox
especially as i can block cookies from sites that want to
track you.
even this site puts on an identifiable cookie.

Close OE and use the Internet Options applet in Control Panel to clear
history.
