I have a Dell Latititude laptop, 8 months old, w/XP Pro.
At some time after I first got the laptop, the 'Internet
Options' window changed, & doesn't offer the standard
menu options, "General, Security, Content, Connections,
Programs, Advanced." Instead, It offers "Security,
Privacy, Content, Connections, Advanced." I'm no longer
able to change my Home Page, which, somehow has
become "Alpha-Search.com." Also, I'm unable to clear
Temp Internet files, nor delete my history. Can anyone
explain how this change came about,& how I can return to
the'Internet Options' window as it previously was
displayed?

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and click on
Item No. 268 (Restore All Tabs under Internet Explorer).

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script,
this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled.
These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System
Registry.
