Internet options not responding

When I try to delete temporary internet files I nothing happens and then I
get the 'Internet Otions Not Responding message. Help please

You may have so many that you'll need to delete them by hand. Start the
computer in Safe Mode, make sure you can see all hidden files, and go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

If you have thousands of files in there, select a block of about 400-500 and
Shift-Delete (to bypass the Recycle bin). Repeat as necessary.
