I am trying to establish a wireless network connection between my Laptop &
PC, using a Linksys USB Network Adaptor.

However, I am faced with the message

" You are connected to the access point, but the Internet could not be found"

Does anyone know a way around this?

Thanks

1=Simply you are not connecting to the Router, how did you set up your
Wireless?.
Did you run the configuration utility or you let windows Zero Configuration
to manage it for, also do you have WPA, WEP encryption Key when you setup the
Router?.
Double click the Wireless Icon on the Notification Area/tray and see if you
can see your Network listed there, if you can see it double click it and try
to connect if you got an error then try to Right click it and Add the Info,
one of them the Security Key (WPA, WEP) encryption.
Read this article here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/wireless.mspx
http:// www.chicagotech.net/troubleshooting/noconnectivity.htm
If still then try this;
2= Click Start >> Control panel >> Network and Internet Connections >> Double
click Network connections, then right your LAN Icon and select Properties.
On the LAN properties under General make sure the Internet Protocol TCP/IP
is selected and click Properties.
There make sure the Machine Get assigned Automatically IP address then click
[OK].
= Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE click on Connections Tab then click on LAN settings.
There be sure the Proxy box not selected and the Automatically detect is
selected.
Click Apply then OK and close the IE properties.
Then Open the run command and type in:
netsh winsock reset click [OK] and Reboot your machine and try to connect.
HTH.

OK, I think I got it. You don't show a silver here, in spite of your answer
count, because 101 of them were not in Help and Support.

Great job, nass.
