internet history

I have used webroots washer to clear my history and even the internet options
in my explorer to clear the history but it is still there??

Start Internet Explorer, and click on the History button, the icon
immediately to the right of the Favorites icon on your toolbar. If there is
no websites listed in the History pane that will open, this is your proof
that it worked.

when I do that all the history is still there??
