Unable to erase internet history. If attempt to do so IE
6 acts like it is erasing it but does not. Also tried to
do with Nortan Systemworks which cannot either, says IE
code prevents it from doing so. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).
[example]
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

I appreciate your suggestions & have attempted to follow
these instructions (I checked out the website you were so
kind to give). Unfortunately, when I attempt to delete
the history folder I am told that it cannot be done
because it is a "windows system file" (it simply refuses
to allow the deletion of this folder). Any further
suggestions? I mean it seems crazy that this should be so
tough...
