Hi ti every one !

I have a question on "how to IE to remember my user ID and to have it
display in the box without having to type in the first few letters?

I have look in the settings in IE and I did not find any things....but a
person that i know told me that he had his IE set to remember his user ID and
when he click on the link the login page apears with the user name already
typed in

Go to tools, internet options, content tab, and click the Autocomplete
button to see/change the settings.

Note that this won't work for all websites, note. There's also a third party
addin called Roboform that can do a lot more than this. I do advise anyone
using things like this that it shouldn't preclude your *remembering* your
logins/passwords - or writing them down on a top-secret piece of paper.
Relying on technology can be a problem sometimes!
