I use an anti-popup software with just the anti-popup
feature enabled in conjunction with Internet Explorer. I
often get the same type of error that causes IE to
terminate. This termination can occur when starting IE,
opening a link, and seems to be unpredictable because I
can open IE twice and it would work if it didn't on the
first try for example. I checked the event viewer and the
error message says: (note: the memory location can change
for each error instance)
"
Application popup: IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error : The
instruction at "0x77fcc663" referenced memory
at "0x000000b4". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
"
Also, the event ID is "26".
Can anyone help fix this? I would really like to keep
using the PopUpCop software because it really does work
but this error is even worse than having popups because of
the frequent terminations. Thanks in advance.
