Internet Explorer pop ups

I utilize the Google searchbar so that I can avoid
popups. Now Internet Explorer is slamming me with pop
ups right and left. I was recently on Banana Republic's
site. Every time I went to another page of clothing, I
received a pop up from IE. How can I stop this? It is
also downloading programs directly onto my computer
without my knowledge.

I am extremely frustrated.

you have spyware on your computer. download a program
like ad-aware or spybot search and destroy and run it on
your computer. probably the best place to get it is
www.download.com. anywhere else and you might get spyware
masquerading as a spyware removal tool.
