I have a virus in my Internet Explorer which disconnects
my dial up connection. To get around it, I do not turn on
IE when I go on the internet. Instead, I go to my email,
outlook exoress, find a message in the inbox, with an
internet link, select the link, and Internet Explorer
then comes on and lets me browse without the disconnect.
My question is what is the mechanism that would cause the
disconnection when I turn on IE normally, but does not
cause the disconnect when I get to IE by clicking on a
link in an email message?
